Welcome to the Carleton Macintosh User Group. This is the online home of the CarlMug - a friendly group of Mac Users who are ready and willing to share their knowledge and tips and tricks about making the most of your Mac at Carleton. We hold meetings twice a month where lessons are given on topics ranging from "choosing the best web browser" to "making Microsoft Word work for you."

Our group also has a dedicated Apple employee that acts as a bridge between Carl Mac users and the company we've all grown to love. CarlMug members are the first to hear about special deals and free giveaways too.

Our user group isn't just limited to Mac users, though. Anyone who is interested in anything Apple is welcome to come to meetings and eat our pizza. Our largest growing membership is from iPod owners. This year, we'll be having several meetings specifically focused on iPod and on music more generally - where music lovers will be able to gather and share tips on their favorite artists and good music. We're also planning an iPod dance, where iPod DJ's will compete to create the best playlist to dance by.
